This blog was set up to capture some of the activity that I'm undertaking with my Film students at Plymouth College of Art. The questions that led to the projects are: How can we make academic practice more accessible to creative students? How can practice-led approaches to research be used in undergraduate study? How can digital and creative technologies be used effectively in theory based modules?

Deconstructing TWOAAMR
Thanks to Tina and Tree for setting up the first Contextual workshop of 2013, where we used paper, magazines, pens, scissors and glue to deconstruct/reconstruct Benjamin's 1936 text The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. Great fun and inspiration for the academic year ahead. Here are some photos...please feel free to add comments/commentary!
